FRESS 112 is a free app for all types of smartphones and tablets. It's easy to use, and it could save your life anywhere in the world. Imagine you've just had an accident, you're injured and there's nobody around to help you. By tapping on the FRESS icon, your location will be fixed and FRESS will connect you to the emergency call centre closest to where you are, who will send help. No matter where you are, your position will be fixed with the precision of GPS, from the moment you hit the button.
*FRESS will only work in those areas where it's available.
Drag the FRESS112 icon to the main screen on your smartphone, so it's always on hand. When you touch the icon , four new icons will appear that will allow to interact with the call centre.
Your location data* and the information from your profile, will be sent to the call centre nearest to you, and very soon afterwards you will have help at hand. FRESS112 REALLY WORKS!
*The location given by your phone will always be double checked by the call-taker, to avoid possible inconsistencies.
With FRESS, you'll be able to describe your situation in detail, including how you are physically, if you are being attacked, etc, using text messages, or photos, or video.
And if you're in a foreign country and you don't know the local language, don't worry, FRESS 112 will automatically translate your text messages, as well as your profile details to the local language. You can also act as a witness to an accident or incident, helping the emergency services to optimize their response.
